You can’t plan the good shit. You just can’t. I mean we can plan a wedding, minute for minute, right down the location for family photos and first dance…but you just can’t plan the good shit.
We did not say, “Ok, at 10:30pm, right after the fireworks + sparklers, the moon should sit right about here and there won’t be any clouds and we’ll stand you on this pointy rock at low tide and shoot this.”
Nope. We did not plan any of this.
This was our elusive Genius. The unpredictable little son of a bitch that drops in on us from time to time. The one we have to grab by the tail before it takes off again.
For as predictable as a wedding may be (get ready, get married, take pics, eat, dance drink)…this is the shit that keeps us coming back for more. This is the reason we never get bored. This is the reason I’ll probably be a 70 year old wedding photographer dropping Seinfeld references to 25 year olds who have no idea what I’m talking about.
This was a great night at White Point!
