mmm….i can smell the peat.
They’re totally beautiful and unique. A fabulous and very happy day captured perfectly!
As always, I love the creative shots that you come up with. The pink shoes dancing outside, the car shot, the fountain with rings. Exquisite!

this is quite possibly my longest wedding blog post ever. I’ve tried the slideshows, the little thumbnails….and i have to be honest with you, I like to keep it simple. This was just one of those weddings that could have gone so wrong but instead went oh so right. Pin it

The picture of everyone sitting at the bar is my favorite!!!
Man! This makes me want to get married all over again, just for the pictures! Amazing!
Daaaaamnnnnnnnn! That last one is Hot!
I LOVE these Liam!! Thank you Thank you!!!!!

I never would have imagined my work would be seen in the Louvre but when Dave + Jules opened their email to check out a sneak pEEk of their wedding photos that’s where they happened to be…so technically, they saw my work in the Louvre. Pin it

awesome photos!
Lovely!! Can’t wait to see the album/proofs!!!

I’ve been plotting this shot for 2 years but the circumstances just never let it happen. I even asked one bride and her bridesmaid that we ran into down on the Halifax waterfront, “Hey I have an idea for 2 arm wrestling brides. Can I buy you a beer and we’ll grab a shot?” blank...

The arm wrestling shot was fun, I wish I had thought to really flex though

Like poor Marcia and Lola, the blog hasn’t been getting the attention is deserves lately…even Eegn isn’t sure who the guy that lives in the basement office is anymore. So this week I’m going to try and blog at least one image per day…and here’s the first one (two).(photo by Steph Camp/Applehead Studio) Pin it

GORGEOUS photos!!!!! The bottom one is awesome!

I first met Chris + Leslie last year when they hosted an event at their property for Canoe09. I just dropped by to grab a few shots of the decor and setup for Avril Mulholland and ended up hanging out for the nite, eating incredible food and drinking Stutz. I was disappointed that I wasn’t...

Thank you Liam for sharing a wonderful fun evening with us … and thanks for making my pink shoes sparkle
Love the BOAT and CAR shots. Seriously cool and different. Has such a cool vibe.

I met Fraser + Jen at the Brides 2010 wedding show last year and I fell for them. They told me they would call but weeks passed by and nothing. No email. No calls. I called Telus a few times just to make sure my cell phone was working just in case I had missed...

The dress. The veil. STUNNING work Liam.
Great gallery Liam…Nice texture and contrasts.
Fraser & Jen were awesome – fun, laid back and ready to rock… Which we did until the venue kicked us out. ![]()

I’m not going to lie to you. It was bleak on Saturday morning as hurricane Earl blew through Halifax. I met up with Lyndsey and the girls at 11am and I looked like I had just come out of the harbor. I sat down to talk to Lyndsey and we talked about the weather for...

these are really amazing photos. i love the brides’ expression in many of the shots.
Liam, the fourth shot down of her is breathtaking. All of them are great but especially love the one of the groomsman in the limo shaking off the rain and her reaction to the superman shirt. Great work as always!
LOVE your bride-feeling-for the rain shot– awesome!! And the superman shirt with the bride’s reaction, priceless!
WOW…that’s all I can say. Well actually it’s not. Liam you made our day that much better. I’m sorry you had to get so soaked in the process but you were an absolute blast! Your work is incredible and Ryan and I are both so happy that you captured our wedding day, hurricane or not! We wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thanks so much for sharing in our special day and making it so much fun
♥ Lyndsey and Ryan!

It’s all about the dress…and the shoes. Aaron + Julie had their wedding last night at Pier 21 and when I left at 11pm the madness was just getting started. About 6pm as we were all walking in Aaron said to the ladies, “let’s get out the scotch and get .” more later. here’s the...

Great photo of Julie
Stellar shot. Really sweet.

so if you’re the type to blow passed the text and go right for the eye candy you’ve probably already noticed this post seems a little heavy with images of just Monique + Luke. It was just one of those beautiful light days and this is a series of images taken throughout the entire day....

So Im way off track w blog posts. There is usually some sort of order but nearing the end of August all order has been replaced by chaos. Its kind of like going to the circus when you’re 3…everything is just so much fun you don’t know what to do or where to start…I do...

This was supposed to be a one photo blog. a teaser. a sneak peek. But I got carried away and pulled out a few more. Then I threw in a few more. So here’s the story to go with the images. I remember the minute Deb + Kevin walked into Uncommon Grounds to meet with...

Given that we’re speaking about things within the region of Deb + Kevin’s Downtown Halifax Wedding » Applehead Studio Photography, Being prepared before the morning of the wedding is essential to ensure you get all the best shots and capture every separate moment of the day. From the family pictures to the wedding ceremony to the reception, the happy couple is going to want to have pictures to remember every moment during their wedding day.

Sarah and Ryan decided not to do an engagement shoot and instead opted for a Trash the Dress shoot with…chocolate and Boston Terriers (stay tuned) so I didn’t really get a chance to shoot with them before their wedding 2 weeks ago. We had met a few times and the day was planned perfectly to...

I smiled while looking at them.
Really love you work.
Flowers and shoes are gorgeous! I also like the backdrop behind the wedding party! LOVED IT!!!
I am over the moon about these pictures – they are more wonderful than I could have dreamed they’d be.
Mireille – thank you for your kind words. My aunt is doing well and cannot wait to see the pictures! With family from Cape Breton and Newfoundland, we had a feeling we may have a fiasco on our hands, and we did:)
No worries on the canvas – we already have a spot picked out.
Wendy – I am very sorry, but the dress will not be for sale. My mother is determined to salvage what she can and make a christening gown.
See you all in September;)
Wedding photgrapher tv show….YES! YES! YES! Liam you would ROCK the small screen!!!!! DO IT!! DO IT!!
To the Bride: You are simply STUNNING. These photos are wonderful, and funny and make sure you get yourselves a beautiful canvas!
To the Bride and Groom: Liam started to tell us the story: So I have this booth at weddings now and this woman decided to climb on someones shoulders…” I start to laugh…
Liam continues, “She falls and breaks her collarbone….”
Me,”Ooooooohhhh….that’s not funny at all…..”
Hope all is well and healing fast! So very sorry to hear about the fall, but to compliment the story, I must say that the shot just before the fall is hilarious and made me laugh!
Hope you have many years of happiness and love!
Mireille Godin Evans (just a crazy client of Liam’s)
What great shoot! triple AAA!!!
I’m looking forward to see the trash the dress shoot in September!

Great images bro, I don’t think the guy from the Newspaper is what you have to worry about. LOL Those are some big men bro. I wonder how many times you told them no during this shoot. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tony + Mireille got married in Digby this time last year. It was a shoot I’ll never forget, taking photos on a rotten train bridge 100 feet over a river. Mireille was pregnant at the time. Since then they’ve had Nathan and Tony delivered his own son on the stairway in his house as they...

I thought Tony and Mireille’s wedding photos were the most amazing shots I’d ever seen….and now this! Yes!….Tony (my nephew) and Mireille are truly very photogenic and I’m sure you had the most amazing time capturing them on film! And of course…the humour and love of life that these two exude is very infectious! They would, I’m sure, make any photo shoot a blast to do! What a lovely gift to each other this was!….and to think they both were of the same mindset thinking of you to provide the most perfect gift for each other!
Keep doing what you’re doing Liam! You are very talented….and having subjects like these two must just make your day! Also, great for your portfolio I would think!
Sincerely,
Terry Giblin
Tony’s maternal aunt from Vancouver Island, BC
