A Photography Workshop. A Free One.

We’re doing a workshop. It doesn’t have a catchy name and it isn’t sponsored. It’s three days long and we’re going to talk about anything and everything we can cram in over 3 days. Everything from first contact with a potential client to finished product delivery to the client. It’s limited to 10 people and...

Brandy - I just recently stumbled upon your work and instantly fell in love! If I wasn’t being held captive by the US Navy in the middle of the Pacific, I would be the first in line!!

Maria Erman - Just wondering about the time? Is it 9am-4pm type of thing?
(That will be depend on if I can go.)

Thanks!
Maria

Michael Carty - Wow Liam, That is a great challenge to many a photographer, including me. I will see if I can scrounge the cash and let you know.

Kandise - I love it, and it’s probably a better use of the money I’m spending to go to WPPI the same weekend, but alas. Have fun! Hope it’s not a giant sausage party ^_^

Christine - Hey Liam, Can you email me the list of pricing for these items?

an engagement shoot gone awry.

I was running late for Julie + Aaron’s engagement session and Jessica was running a little behind as well. So I sent Julie an email and said I’ll be 30 minutes late. See you at 7.30. As we roll into this incredible lakeside cottage on Queensland beach Julie says, from behind a glass of wine,...

Mindy Bean - Great back lighting on the log shot.

Sonya - AWESOME!!!

Take My Wife – Please. The uncensored version

These days I tell Lola not to touch my camera gear but she just can’t resist the urge to reach out and drop a finger on it and sooner or later have it flying through the air. Sometimes we just do really stupid things and we can’t help it. This morning I got an email...

Norma Peddle - P.S. Forgot to say, what a B E A U T I F U L photo !!!!!!! I love it!!!!

Norma Peddle - What a low-life!!!! To go through the trouble of stealing someone else’s work and try to sell it….I hope word gets around fast and she’s removed from Facebook. There are enough scumbags, we don’t need any more. You are more of a good person than I am. I would have accepted that ride across the Province, and kicked her ass!!

Allie + Ryan

Allie + Ryan are not planning a wedding. Nor are they engaged. They’re just two (self proclaimed) cheesy love birds  who wanted to have some photos together. We met up in the middle of a field and just watching them walk toward us as we met, Jessica and I could tell they were just simply...

good, good.

Cicely - Sweet SFME man! I really dig the depth in all of these.

Mindy Bean - Great location. I love the clouds too!

Adam - The dry cracked mud in #4 is really rad. nice location

Cheryl - officially hit the next “level”. unreal.

Rob Goldstein - Very impressive. You have something for the conservative parents and for modern tastes of the youth.

Tanya - #4 = the biznatch.

Lisa Kretschmannn - Wow!! That last picture is stunning!!

the birdcage veil shootout

Debbie was our veil model for the nite and Charlotte came along with her. If anyone asks Charlotte what what she did last nite she will mostly likely tell them she hung out in a dusty basement with a bunch of photography nerds. When she had boudoir photography done in Halifax is was from Applehead...

Ren Prefontaine - I like the “sunstar” you captured from the light appliance. The composition is great. My eye is first drawn to that and then rays lead me into the center of the picture on the action is, and then because of the way it’s lit, it just holds me there. This is a fun shot.

eric langlois - Oh snap… this is what we call “ridonkulus” in our parts.

Shannon Murray - Epic photo – can’t wait to see more. Kirt does amazing work.

Shannon Murray

good luck Marmar. i love you.

i personally think you learn the most from failure. i remember a piano concert I royally f***ed up back in junior high. i  was sitting on the stool in front of the piano and for the life of me could not get Super Trouper to get from my brain to my fingers. Disaster…but I’ll never...

Heather Crosby Gionet - makes me realize two things:
1. I need to commit to my half hour three times a week of working out…I go through a pair of sneakers every 2 years?
2. I need to take more creative photographs of the things happening in my life. Props to you Liam for taking the time to document this.

Christine - Wow!! I hope she did great at Disney!!

Deanna - GO Marse..you’re going to ROCK!! Can’t wait to see the pics.
Hope you all have a great trip :)

Nicole Delaney - I will be there cheering you on in person can’t wait… and I am with you on the next in Ottawa.. Go Marse….

Jackie - Sending through good luck wishes from the Caseys!!!! Go Marse Go! Shoot Liam Shoot!

Tanya - Good luck Marse! I’ll be thinking of you!

Janice Williams (Married Name: Mackley) - what a trooper you are…a) to run a marathon (again), and b) for not killing your husband for bailing on you (gotta love kids, they are the perfect excuse for anything)…..LOL…anyway, best of luck on Sunday!! Enjoy Disney and all its Magic!

family (un)portrait photography

Kate Udle - Wow Liam – this looks FANTASTIC! Can’t wait to see the rest!

Rosanne Burke - Wow! They started the chicken burger?! I believe there is no such thing as coincidences, just things that are meant to be! You were meant to shoot their photo! There are too many things wrapped into your relations with them for it to have been any other way!

Jackie - Kate and Clarke!! You guys look awesome. Great family photo. Happy Holidays!!!

GMosher - Love this. But then I’ve always been a sucker for great rimlight/backlight.

a little rant followed by two amazing little girls!

i worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 7 years. i probably thought about losing my job 95% of the time. one of the many times i lost my job i was on my way to a lunch (KFC) w a doctor and got ‘the phone call’. they actually told me to turn around and go...

candee - also – pics are adorable. someday i am going to get you to do my two. it will be a true test of your skills. they are BUSY!

candee - kfc is gross. i’d quit any job that made me eat that shit.

tenzin gyatso - this is what you were meant to do. it was always obvious you needed to be doing something creative. so happy now to see where you are and that all the fake silliness is behind you. suck on the plethora of beauty that been created, punk ass pharmaceutical industry.

I’ll be in the city next weekend, so i’ll be sure to make it down and see the display while it’s up!
