Applehead Radio…coming soon.

i’m a bit of a talk radio junky. CBC, 95.7, podcasts etc. pretty much every topic is interesting and i’m starting to think that when you hit 65 or 70 years of age, its perfectly acceptable to drink heavily and call in to talk radio programs. doesn’t that sound better than 3 minutes w Nickelback?...

Melinda + Earl are getting married in Mexico in April but we’ve been set on doing a shoot in Halifax before the trip down south. They had a new Jeep and they wanted to get it dirty. I can tell you first hand that if you end up in emergency…ask for one of these two...

Adam Cavanagh - Love the phone booth!

mireille - VERY COOL.

Janice - last shot…Fantastic!
Nice Aliant Logo..:):):) Biased.

Munho - the last shot is killer (minus the Aliant logo)

MIllie - Lovin the first and the last one! Almost looks HDR.

i have to tell you something…

i have no idea where the ‘studio’ in applehead studio came from. it was so long ago…i honestly think it just sounded cool and began as a joke.  the studio started in shawn + nicole’s basement, my furnace room, an empty bedroom, marcia’s garage, a room we built in Marcia’s basement (Mike + Anita bought...

Rola - Cheryl these pictures are wicked sick! I LOVE!

wendy - Hi,
After the last part of the trash the dress session, I would like to buy the trashed wedding dress in the condition it is.
Please feel free to contact me.
Thank you
Wendy

Chris - Hi,

Gorgeous pics, gorgeous dress, gorgeous bride. Could you give me any clues on how the dress will reach it’s ‘end’ in Part 3. Is it ripped to shreds, painted, muddy, etc.

Please give a clue as it adds to the anticipation of this arty photography.

Thanks

Chris

bon - im head over heels for the last one, well i would be. love you guys.

Jackie - All I can say is OH MY GOD! Those are fan-freakin-tastic! And I will give you guys a “whoop whoop” on the studio!! Can’t wait to see it.

Cheryl - P.S Congrats about the studio!!!

Cheryl - Once again – AWESOME TIME! The pictures are crazy sick. I know thats not a proper descriptive term but really …they are crazy sick. Can not wait until part trois.

Tanya - 2 and 5 dude…..killed it. So much fun. Thanks for having me along :)

Geoff - We both had a great time last night Liam, even with all of the drama that unfolded – and the pictures look amazing.

We just got back from the hospital and it turns out that Tara has a fractured bone in her foot and will be on crutches for a few days. It didn’t stop her last night, but I’ve always known that she was much tougher than I am. ;)

Cheryl - Brian should work for the Airport Authority.

Tanya - OMG. I’m dying on so many levels. Having had the pleasure of dealing with the “train yard authority” and watching you schmooze, so I can just hear this whole scenario playing out.

“Took a header”….”they screw”….”the tenacity of a girl stung 5 times”…. oh man.

On a side note, images #2 and #3 are killah!!! Can’t wait ’till tomorrow’s post ;)

Heather - the story is even better with pictures!

FIRE!!!!

ever see the Seinfeld episode where George is at a kids birthday party and he smells smoke…and proceeds to push men, women and children out of the way to get out of the apartment? guilty! met up w Cassandra + Brendan for a quick engagement shoot before their wedding in October and we met up...

cassandra - Yes that shoot was definetly fun! Not to mentioned packed with lots of action! Lets just say I do not care for hornets anymore….

Cheryl - ok. so where are the tree pics?

the wife - Love the first shot. It has that dreamy washed out look that I love.

Christine - Great shots! I love the one of them in the parking lot (#2). And in regards to 2009 sucking, just think on the bright side, it can only get better from here right? lol

natasha + andrew (at 136 ft)

natasha + andrew brought two things to their engagement shoot last nite: keys (to an elevator that goes up to a sundeck under construction) and a basketball. i love a shoot where everyone is up for anything. this was one of them.  Pin it

Tara - Love is grand…especially when captured in kick ass photos. YaaaaaAAAYYYYY LOVE!

mireille - And the “romantic” shots come into play…NICE! I’m impressed. You can totally see how much in love these 2 are in your shots! Nice work Liam! (as per usual!)

Jenn - I have never seen a sweater vest look so cool!! Amazing photos!!

Michelle B - Spectacular!

Shauna - Pic #1 and #6 (b&w) are my favorites! HOT HOT HOT!!! Love them. You guys look so good. Liam – you’re awesome!

Kelly - Natasha…with both eyes open… every shot?? Dude you are amazing and appear to have broken a 30 year curse!

Danielle Dixon-Toulouse - These are all beautiful and incredibly artistic shots. My favorite is definitely the one where your leaning into Andrew and he has his eyes closed. Very intimate and loving.
Great job!

Natasha - I am literally skipping around my office right now with glee!!! No blinks, both eyes open, no one passing out from vertigo….you’re a rockstar Liam :)

Tanya - Um yeah. Can I have your autograph? I bow down.

the wife - I love the one with his eyes closed and her looking at the camera. Very nice shot babe!

Cheryl - OK, so these are either tied with “Kim and Pudgie” or they made have edged them out of the position for #1 Applehead shot. (in my humble opinion). you’re amazing.

bring it.

so I was hanging out at Felicity Bridal tonight before my engagement shoot w Natasha + Andrew and found out this: Christa, purveyor of the most amazing wedding dresses and owner of Felicity Bridal is going to be on BT tomorrow morning at 7.15 (or maybe it was 7.45)…either way, if you want to see...

oh my my. oh hell yes.

when you’re a photographer the next best thing to shooting is being a second shooter…or third even. its pretty much like getting to go to work and do whatever the hell ya want all day. sure, you gotta hold a light every now and then but thats not so bad. the tradeoff is you get...
