one of the many times i lost my job i was on my way to a lunch (KFC) w a doctor and got ‘the phone call’. they actually told me to turn around and go home and not deliver the lunch. im guessing they thought the stress of losing yet another pharma job was too much and I would have beaten the doctor and receptionist to death w a chicken leg and stabbed then with little plastic utensils…and of course clean up w handiwipes.
a good friend of mine got ‘the call’ while he was on the 16th tee but i think they let him play through. it happens to everyone.
i know there are procedures and policies but with such advances in technology as say, oh, cellular telephones and texting, the ‘word’ gets out pretty fast and by the time ‘head office person who flew in, stayed in a hotel for 2 days to fire you in 49 seconds’ opens another 9$ bottle of hotel water, you’ve already told 9 people who are wondering what the hell is going to happen to them. it’s a horrible feeling to not know if you’re going to have a job at the end of the day. there’s got to be a more efficient way that eliminates the shit people have to go through while they wait for a phone call…or maybe not a phone call. and if you get this phone call…is it good or is it bad? do you want to be called to a meeting or do you want to deliver chicken to Dr. H. + Cathy? its madness.
so i promised photos of amazing little girls.
maclaine and addison were more than perfect. i could have picked them up and carried them 100 ft away form mom + dad and they didnt care. so i did.
maclaine was simple. feed smarties…request cuteness. repeat.
addison…she just chilled w some grapes until it was her time to light it up.
pretty sure everyone went home for a nap after the shoot. even the photographer.
